Arrive in the afternoon at about 3 pm. You can check into your room at the hotel straight away, then step out onto the terrace where we’ll serve you fresh strawberries with lightly whipped cream. The Maypole stands proudly in the garden.
Guests wanting to enjoy the traditional Swedish Midsummer festivities can take a short walk along the shore to Victoriaparken in Lyckorna. There the dancing gets under way at 4 pm.
Dinner is served at 7 pm.
We begin with the house selection of pickled herring, new potatoes cooked with fragrant dill, freshly harvested chives, home-produced sour cream accompanied by Sweden’s famous “Janssons Frestelse” (Jansson’s Temptation – a casserole made of potatoes, onions, pickled sprats, bread crumbs and cream)
The evening meal continues with a selection of best cuts of meat provided by our choice suppliers of beef, lamb and chicken. This is accompanied by some delicious, creamy sauces and a crisp salad featuring not least the very best tomatoes the market can offer
